Very rich and nutty aromatic flavour, fairly sweet with hints of fruit and cocoa
The cup profile of this region is unique and incredibly distinctive. Each cup of this coffee provides a new insight in the complex nature of the different flavours. Nearly all of the coffee produced in this region is by small holders, all with no more than 3ha of land. The mountainous nature of this region means that there are many mico climates operating all at the same time and affect each small holder in a different way.
Roasting Notes: This is a pretty tolerant bean and will take a darker roast if that is your style. Otherwise, most varietal character will emerge if the roast goes no further than a few seconds into second crack.
